Join us for Coffee Buzz Networking on our new date and time, 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM Monday, November 13th at Aroma Joe's Coffee 2 S. Beech Street, Manchester.

What Worked & What Didn't

It's November again, and you know what that means, it's time to start thinking about next year.

Let's start with the elephant in the room.

  • Did you reach your goals this year?
  • Are you finishing the year with the same goals you started the year?
  • What changed & why?

There are a lot of reasons we fail to achieve our goals that have nothing to do with intent or effort.

  • Were your goals SMART? (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Reasonable, Timed)
  • Were they the right goals for you?
  • Did they evolve with changing circumstances?

What worked, what didn't, and what can you do to do better next year?

I want to hear your story.

I'm willing to bet that even if you didn't quite reach all of this year's goals, you probably made a lot more progress than you realize.

I know I did. Between family, side projects, and a million other distractions there were weeks when I felt like I wasn't getting anything accomplished, but when I looked at my to-do list I found I got a lot more done than I thought. Most of that success came down to having an effective system and making a conscious effort to say an occasional no.

At this month's Coffee Buzz we're going to be taking a look back at the goals we had at the beginning of the year, how they evolved, and how close we came to achieving them. We're also going to talk about our favorite tools and systems for staying on track. (Hint: I have a new accountability partner for next year.)

Coffee Buzz Networking is FREE!!!

If you haven't heard about Coffee Buzz Networking we're a group of local small business people and freelancers who meet once a month to network, share referrals and connect.

We're a small group, usually between 5 - 10 people, and we're pretty laid back. Everyone has a chance to share their latest products, specials, and promotions, but there are no blatant sales pitches.

This is the perfect group for serious small business owners to expand their network and connect with other local business owners.
