More Events to help you celebrate National Small Business Week, April 29 - May 5!

In case you didn't hear, it's National Small Business Week and the Granite State is rising to the challenge.

There were far too many events on this week's Weekly Roundup to list them all in Friday's post, so I'm doing a follow up to share a few more of the key activities from some of the larger organized groups.

Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce

I have actively followed business events in the state for the last four years and without a doubt, the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce (GCCOC) routinely stands head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to New Hampshire's Chambers of Commerce. Not only is their calendar filled with activities that promote and support local businesses, they connect their members the entire Concord community with initiatives like Creative Concord, the Capital Area Student Leadership Committee, and the Business Grants Program to help teachers develop "innovative programs not covered by school budgets."

If you'd like to see what the GCCOC has to offer, they are hosting a Lunch & Learn called New Hampshire LLCs - What Every New Hampshire Small Business Person Should Know at the GCCOC office, 49 South Main Street, Suite 104 in Concord from 11:45 AM - 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 3rd.

Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce

The Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce (GMCOC) is taking a much different approach to small business week. Instead of hosting their own events, they are promoting member events.

Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce

If you haven't seen this week's Weekly Roundup, the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce (GNCOC) has gone above and beyond when it comes to promoting and supporting Nashua area businesses. Instead of the one or two events they typically host, the GNCOC has filled the entire week with workshops and networking events to help you start and grow your business in the Gate City.

SCORE

SCORE Lakes Region is hosting their Third Annual Women’s Business Roundtable on Wednesday, May 3rd from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM in the Flagship Ballroom, Mill Falls at the Lake 312 Daniel Webster Hwy. Meredith, NH.

Also on Wednesday, the SCORE Merrimack Valley is launching a timely new workshop called Cash from Your Kitchen. Pre-packaged meals, homemade food, and other kitchen products have become one of the hottest trends in small business and our local SCORE chapter is presenting this workshop to help you "make money from food you create either in your own kitchen or in a commercial kitchen." The workshop is from 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM at Concord Chamber of Commerce 49 S. Main Street Concord, NH

This is not a complete list of every event in every part of the state, but it should give you a starting place to find the networking events and workshops you are looking for to promote and grow your New Hampshire business.
